Inside Commercial Door Sales /Assistant Commercial Job Estimator – Millwork and Door Sales

Years of Experience: Experienced 3 to 5 years preferred experience in the commercial door business, and commercial job material estimation or interior/exterior door sales.

Millwork Products, L.L.C., is one of the region’s largest suppliers of doors and millwork; is currently seeking a commercial door salesman/estimator for it home office in Paducah, KY. We have a well-established customer base, with the potential for continued growth. The ideal representative should have experience in the commercial door field or millwork industry. Experience calling on customers is helpful. Knowledge of millwork, residential doors, stair parts, commercial doors and reading construction blueprints is a plus.

Description of Duties :

* Responsible for assisting with all commercial sales activities in the markets the company services, including job material estimator.

* Assist customers with their commercial job product needs over the phone and at the job site if required

* Obtain product orders from the company customers and work with our inside/ outside sales team and management to ensure all orders are completed and shipped as requested

* Research and identify new potential customers and solicit those potential customers for our products and services

* Responsible for providing a high level of customer service, and taking care of customer inquiries and issues as they might arise

* Be able to resolve problems in the field or over the phone in a professional manner

* Continue to develop and deliver product knowledge to the customers in our market about the company’s commercial and other product lines and industry trends

* Assist our customers and their contractors with sales presentations

Preferred Experience/Qualities:

* Commercial Door and millwork product knowledge

* Experience reading construction blueprints is a plus.

* Should have strong verbal and written communication skills, computer skills are a must

* Highly motivated, honest and outgoing attitude

* Sales and customer service experience

* Should be able to multi-task

* Should be able to manage his or her time

* Effective goal and planning skills

* Creative and enthusiastic

* Leadership abilities

* High school diploma or GED minimum; 2 years of sales experience

* Must hold a valid driver’s license

* The ability to obtain and retain product knowledge.

* May be required on occasion to lift, pull, carry or move objects (25 lbs.)
