What We’re Looking ForStrong Technical Proficiency: In depth knowledge of Windows and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other applications.
Communication Experts: Ability to effectively explain technical issues to non technical users with patience and in a clear, concise and professional manner
Analytical Minds: Logical thinkers with an innate ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Helpdesk and End User Support:
Answering questions regarding software and hardware
Fixing inoperable or malfunctioning workstations and software
Troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues
New Deployments:
Deploying new workstations and infrastructure such as cabling, punch-downs, and possible networking equipment
Setup and maintenance of user accounts and permissions.
Maintenance and continuous improvement:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
Keeping the server room and storage areas clean and organized
Working towards 100% uptime
Resolving order issues and third-party application issues
Perform regular system updates and backups.
Administrative:
Document support processes and maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions.
Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS4 Years Experience in a technical or customer service-related field
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
Experience with remote desktop support tools.
Familiarity with network and system administration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Licensures, Certifications: Comp TIA certifications are strongly desired but not required. Including but not limited to A , Net , and Security Certifications. Additional technical certifications are a plus.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to do work on ladders and lifts, under desks and in other confined spaces.
