This is a full-time position in our Akron, OH location. This job receives weekly pay, every Friday!

Position Summary:
The Billing Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for ensuring cash flow for DME services. In general, the candidate will possess an understanding of Medical billing rules, and regulations. The representative will be responsible for the billing, and follow up of open claims for their assigned workload.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to analyze and review insurance billing requirements
• Answering multi line phone
• Verification of benefits
• Documentation retrieval
• Billing using HCFA 1500 form
• Billing using Insurance web sites
• Understanding insurance payments and copays
• Communications with responsible parties on balance due
• Contractual adjustments

Job Requirements Qualifications Include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with Excel and Word
• Meets company standard on drug and background checks.
• Prior medical billing experience
• Knowledge of ICD10 and HCPC codes
