The Facilities Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance in and around the Kettering, OH location.
Essential Job Functions

• Replace and empty chip bins as needed in the Custom Machining & Mass Production areas. Load full containers on truck at scheduled times
• Clean and maintain filters in various areas of the facility
• Run floor scrubber per cleaning schedule
• Maintain and track proper disposal of used coolant/oil containers
• Empty trash cans and recycle bins on a daily basis. Loads cardboard into baler, and secures full bales to be loaded onto truck with scrap metal
• Clean windows and other areas per cleaning schedule.
• Assist with outside work including yard cleaning, building upkeep, snow removal, etc.
• Manage event setup of tables, chairs, lights, etc.
• Occasional Cleaning of Facilities: Bathrooms, Breakrooms, Conference Rooms, Entrances, etc.
• Participates in department 5S objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Classification Requirements

• High school graduate with previous facilities experience a plus
• Must have ability and knowledge of hand tools, power tools
• Must have a good work ethic
• Must be dependable and flexibly with a good attendance record
• Must be detailed oriented
• Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor
• Must have ability to operate a forklift and aerial lift
• Exerts between 10 and 50 pounds on frequent basis
• Always adheres to Company safety policies
