• Heavy travel in the assigned area but with occasional travel throughout North America
• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repairs
• Inspect troubleshoot, and perform replacements, repairs, and rebuilds on mechanical systems
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshooting via telephone if possible
• Exhibit extremely effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
• Utilize schematics, drawings, and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
• CNC programming skills (highly desired) or the ability learn quickly (a must)

Requirements

• Military experience from a primarily electronic or electrical background with some light mechanical experience
• 2-5 years of experience as a field service technician is a plus
• Any PLC, industrial automation, and/or machine tool experience is a huge plus
• Current valid drivers’ license is required due to the necessary extensive local travel
