Job Summary

• Responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly finance tasks while supporting other core groups. You will be responsible for quality and accuracy of deliverables and the scope of responsibility ranges from performing these activities to validating controls and processes and gaining efficiencies.
• Directly reports to VP of Finance.

General Accountabilities

• Processing for accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, customer billing inquiries, customer research and order entry
• Communication with business partners and external parties on status inquiries and other invoice related questions
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data, verifying the mathematical accuracy of all data
• Prepare information and supporting documentation with increasing complexity
• Performs self-review and peer review for various tasks in the company
• Drive process improvement and develop efficiencies that impact the function
• Monitors, reviews and verifies accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness and adequacy of supporting documentation
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and agency rules and regulations
• Analyzes reports for accuracy prior to distribution
• Examines and evaluates internal methods and procedures for adequacy of controls

Job Qualifications

• Education Minimum: Associates degree in an appropriate field of study (Accounting, Finance, Business, etc)
• Experience: 1-2 years’ of applicable experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
