A private health club in Manhattan is seeking a part-time Certified Lifeguard to monitor and supervise the pool and Jacuzzi area. This is a weekend shift; candidates must be available to work weekends, Saturday & Sunday from 7:30am - 2:00pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure a safe environment for patrons
• Enforce pool rules and regulations
• Respond to swimmers in distress
• Routine monitoring and recording temperature readings, chlorine levels, etc.
• Clean and maintain the aquatics facility
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The requirements for this position are:

• A valid lifeguard certification
• A valid CPR and first aid certification

Candidates must have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
