Milestone Senior Services is Hiring a Food Service Worker - Part Time (Calhoun County) Near Battle Creek, MI

Job Title: Food Service Worker
Reports To: Chef Supervisor
Scheduled Hours: Part - Time (Expected 20 hours/week)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Job Description

If so, Milestone Senior Service has an opportunity for you to work as a Food Service Worker. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Produce, package, and distribute ServeSafe meals for seniors in our various nutrition programs and to catered clients.
Assist with maintaining a clean and organized food service environment.
Food production, set-up service, and clean up for catered events.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift and push loads up to 60 pounds, stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, and reach
  • Ability to read at a 6th grade level.
  • Must have teamwork and service attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing work environment meeting strict deadlines
  • Candidate must also have ability to pass food management certification class and receive certification.
  • Expected work hours will be 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday - Friday, with flexibility as company needs arise.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Non-exempt position starting at $14.11 – 16.13, adjusted for experience.
  • Benefits packages include:
