We are hiring a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to work in with a well-established primary care office. If you are looking to get your foot in the door with a team that is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to our community.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Receptionist with a strong focus on patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting and a passion for delivering an excellent environment for patients.
Your Day Will Consist of the Following:
Welcome patients and visitors professionally and courteously.
Communicate schedule delays to patients effectively and assist with patient comfort if delays occur.
Collect and save necessary appointment documentation.
Verify demographics and insurance information.
maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/Equivalency
Adept in medical terminology and insurance practices
Proficient in the use of computer programs and applications including Outlook applications and practice EMR systems.
Competent in basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures, and make changes accurately.
Knowledgeable of CPT and ICD-10 coding
Current BLS certification for healthcare providers
Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER
