Shift 2 (United States of America) Position Summary: Milacron is looking for a Grinder to join our team in McPherson, KS. As a Grinder you will be responsible for… Work You’ll Do: · Inspect a wide variety of commercial and manufactured parts for compliance with engineering specifications and company standards · Verify correct product using job traveler · Use inspection methodology and record all results · Interpret complex drawings, process sheets, and company standards · Work with quality and management departments for any manufacturing issues/defects · Monitor machine performance and perform preventative maintenance to assure continuity of production · Read part drawing with sectional views · Maintain plant standards in areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, 5S, housekeeping, teamwork, and attendance · Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: · 1-3 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience · Standard precision measuring tools · Must be at least 18 years of age Preferred Qualifications: · Dependable, honest, quick learner, effective communication skills and team player · Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met · High school diploma or GED · Standard precision measuring tools Who we are: Milacron: Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture, distribution and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the $27 billion plastic technology and processing industry.
