Job Summary:

Midwest Volleyball Warehouse is an on-line retailer specializing in volleyball equipment and apparel. We are one of the major volleyball-only companies in the USA shipping nationwide and having our own embroidery and screen printing shop.

The ideal A/P, AR & Payroll Clerk will be detail oriented and able to work both independently with minimal supervision, yet also be an integral part of our close knit team.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable functions including but not limited to:
• Verifying and processing vendor invoices
• Preparing AP checks
• Reconciling bank statements
• Other administrative tasks related to the accounts payable function.
• Process vendor returns and credit memos.
• Prepare weekly check runs for approval and printing/mailing checks.
• Reconcile vendor statements as needed.
• Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll.
• Handle IRS quarterly tax filings.
• Complete required governmental surveys and other paperwork.
• Handle weekly AR bank deposits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable, payroll, or accounting is required.
• Willing to learn a new AP/AR accounting system and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook email.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal direction.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize work based on daily requirements.
• Ability to work in a small business environment where everyone pitches in as needed.
• This is not a remote/work at home job. Our offices are in Burnsville, MN.
• This is a full time 40 hour a week job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
