Service Writer

Duties:

- Communicate with customers to understand their vehicle service needs
- Write accurate and detailed service orders for auto body repair, alignment, suspension, shocks, struts, tire service, diesel engine repair, brake repair, oil changes, transmission service, and air brake repairs
- Provide estimates for labor and parts based on customer needs
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services
- Maintain accurate records of customer information, vehicle history, and service details
- Follow up with customers to provide updates on service progress and obtain authorization for additional repairs if necessary
- Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or complaints regarding services provided

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of auto body repair, alignment, suspension, shocks, struts, tire service, diesel engine repair, brake repair, oil changes, transmission service, and air brake repairs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and technicians
- Attention to detail to accurately write service orders and estimates
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and schedules
- Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns
