Midwest Security Forces is looking for experienced applicants to fill immediate Armed Security Officer position in Oak Lawn, IL. We have 1 full-time position available.
General Security Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Midwest Security clients include retail shopping centers, professional office parks, high-rise buildings, highway travel centers, industrial facilities, banks, gated residential communities, health care facilities, and more. We are proud of our long-standing relationships with our clients and many of our clients have been with us since we began. Our hands-on approach and responsiveness to every situation is what sets us apart from others. Our Executive team receives alerts 24/7 so we can respond immediately when there is an issue at an account. General Security Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Secures premises and establishing a friendly presence at the site
- He/she must be customer service oriented
- The successful candidate will pay close attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have good communication skills
- Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
- Respond quickly to critical situations
- Ability to read and write detailed reports
- Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
- The ability to work within a team environment
- Must consistently maintain a well groomed appearance and hygiene
- Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law.
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Security Officer experience a plus
- Must have a valid drivers license with clean driving history (only for jobs which require driving)
- Must have reliable means of transportation
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Must be able to pass background check
- IL PERC Card
- IL FOID
- IL 40 hrs Firearm Training within last year
- Leave: Paid holidays, Vacation/paid time off
