Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Planning Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in partnering with sales on forecast, managing inventory levels, and enhancing overall efficiency within our organization. In addition, this role will ensure customer satisfaction through the improvement and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures, company policy, all legal/regulatory considerations, and company/regional Safety and Quality procedure.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory turnover rates and recommend strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce carrying costs.
  • Generate reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess and improve inventory management processes and systems.
  • Create and track Supply Chain cost savings initiatives
  • Track KPI (Key Performance Indicators) metrics for Supply Chain
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication of status updates with both internal and external customers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and possesses the ability to complete tasks on-time and with little supervision
  • General negotiation skills
  • Proficient in ERP systems

Education / Training Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or quantitative fields or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of industry supply chain, inventory management, forecasting, procurement, or logistics experience
