Service Technician - $1,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Founded 30 years ago, Midwest Equipment Company is an industry leading distributor of quality commercial food service equipment, including Taylor soft serve freezers, slush machines and grills, Flavorburst, Broaster Pressure Fryers and Smokaroma cooking equipment.

We are based in Fenton, MO (St. Louis suburb) with 42 technicians across our five-state territory : Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Northwest Arkansas.

We have an immediate need for a Service Technician located in the Farmington area to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial equipment at the customer's location.

Ideal Candidate :

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and knowledge of basic refrigeration systems are preferred but not required. Factory training and, on the job training, is provided which includes riding along with a senior technician until ready to go solo.
• Commercial foodservice equipment repair experience is a plus!
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training a plus!
• Has a "knack" with all things mechanical (aptitude)
• Excellent customer service skills
• EPA Certification
• Likes ice cream and slushies!
