We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Receptionist with tax experience to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently.
  • Assist clients with inquiries and provide basic information about our tax services.
  • Collect and process client payments accurately.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Utilize tax software and tools to assist in tax-related tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with care.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a tax or accounting environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and fax machines.
  • Knowledge of tax terminology, processes, and software (e.g., TurboTax, TaxAct, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional demeanor and customer-oriented approach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or tax-related field is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.27 - $20.18 per hour
