This position requires a deep commitment to the Christian faith, a passion for teaching young children, and the ability to integrate faith-based principles into daily instruction.Lines of Authority:Reports to the Elementary Principal Education:Bachelor’s Degree RequiredRequired Personal Qualities:
  • Whole-heartedly agrees with the school’s Statement of Faith and vision to Live for God, Love like Jesus, and Learn for Life
  • Consistently demonstrates enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.
  • Embodies a Christ-like attitude in all aspects of his/her work.
Required Spiritual Development:
  • Is a baptized believer who is a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ.

  • Plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Incorporate Bible stories, faith-based values, and character education into daily lessons.
  1. Classroom Management:
  • Establish and maintain a positive and supportive classroom conducive to learning and spiritual growth.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies rooted in faith-based principles.
  • Foster a sense of community and belonging among students through collaborative activities and teamwork.
  1. Instruction and Assessment:
  • Deliver instruction using a variety of instructional strategies and resources.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and spiritual growth.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  1. Spiritual Development
  • Lead daily prayer/devotional time, integrating biblical teachings into classroom discussions.
  • Model Christ-like behavior and values through actions and interactions with students. Exemplary behavior and character consistent with Christian values, serving as a positive role model for students both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Facilitate opportunities for students to explore and deepen their faith.
  1. Parent Communication and Collaboration:
  • Establish open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with parents/guardians to support student learning and spiritual development.
  • Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences and other school events.
  1. Professional Development:
