Midcoast Recreation Center is expanding our facilities and team. We seek an experienced development professional to work under our new Executive Director and help them build and manage a traditional development program focused on raising unrestricted support for the breadth of work that we do. This individual will also support our active capital campaign (in a quiet phase) which is expanding our donor pool and building a foundation for a new culture of philanthropy at our organization. Responsibilities:
Individual Giving – Fundraising and Stewardship
Annual Giving (Direct Marketing)
Gift Processing and Stewardship
Capital Campaign Support
· Engage with our capital campaign consultant to support campaign efforts.
· Attend campaign committee meetings and assist with note-taking and follow-up.
· Manage all gift and pledge processing, reminders, and acknowledgments for campaign gifts.
· Track volunteer fundraising efforts in Daxko.
· Help our volunteers feel valued and appreciated as they solicit campaign donations.
· Develop a strategy for converting campaign donors into long-time annual supporters for MRC.

Reporting: The Development Manager reports to the Executive Director.
