**FILING IMMEDIATELY FOR H2B EXTENSIONS**

Midcoast Hospitality Group, PO Box 584, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538. Housekeepers/Desk Clerks will work in Southport and Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Various duties as assigned, such as cleaning and maintaining common areas/dishes, overnight guest rooms, grounds and bathrooms, changing/cleaning bed linens/towels, etc., vacuuming, removing trash, dusting, replacing shampoo/soap, etc., general cleaning/room assistance, waste disposal, delivering guest requests to rooms, etc.; and various front desk clerk duties as needed, including answering phones, greeting, registering, and assigning guests to rooms, issuing keys, handling luggage, processing payments, handling customer complaints and requests, and making and confirming reservations. 40 hrs./wk., Sunday-Saturday (1-2 days off, varies), shifts available as early as 7:00am to as late as 11:00pm, wages TBD; temporary full-time position (May 1, 2024 to October 15, 2024). No minimum education or experience required; on-the-job training will be provided; performance-based bonus and/or raise possible. Optional employer-provided double-occupancy housing available at $100/week deducted from weekly pay. Paid biweekly using a single workweek as the standard for computing wages due. Standard payroll deductions as required by law.

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if worker completes half the employment period; the amount for daily subsistence will be at least $14.00 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts; return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Reimbursement within one week after the start of work of visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The employer will provide workers, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
