SALARY SCHEDULE: MDTC SCHEDULE TCIN - 235 days
Salary $56,750-$58,022 based off experience
DEPARTMENT: TINKER TECH CENTER
FLSA STATUS: EXEMPT
SAFETY-SENSITIVE: YES
POSITION SUMMARY:
Write and update curriculum as well as develop training materials for new and current
classes. Teach classroom theory as needed, providing instruction and demonstration to
students. Assist Tinker Tech staff as needed. Must have an eye for detail and be
proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on PowerPoint. Must have the ability to
create engaging and effective learning material. Proficient in creating
publications/graphics. Must demonstrate exceptional writing, reading and proofreading
skills.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in all MS office apps with emphasis PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of the ISD process is preferred.
  • Must be an efficient typist, typing 60 words a minute or more.
  • Previous curriculum development experience is preferred but not required.
  • Attention to details and a proficient proofreader.
  • Must be able to pass TAFB/ DOD clearance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and develop curriculum content, training materials and teaching aids.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to identify training needs.
  • Adapting curriculum to meet specific requirements and standards of customers.
  • Analyzing educational needs and creating instructional materials.
  • Proficient at typing, editing, and proofing reading of curriculum.
  • Conduct research and collaborate with instructional subject matter experts.
  • Collect and maintain feedback from customers and instructors concerning relevant
    changes that are needed in the curriculum.
  • Assist with ordering and the storage of curriculum as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining curriculum storage areas.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor or Director.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and
correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before the customer and staff.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, suing whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out function furnished in written,
oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
in standardized situations.
