Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management deem necessary from time to time.

1. Pours metal into molds within temperature range to produce quality castings.

2. Removes slag from ladle before pouring castings.

3. Shifts jackets and weights as required.

4. Responsible for accurately marking each mold with a shake-out time.

5. Ensures that ladles are pre-heated before use.

6. Pours test bars, micro lugs, and iron samples per procedure.

7. Utilizes Mold Cars to move molds down the pallet line to ensure Molders are able mold and stage pouring.

8. Accurately and safely follows job procedures to add Hot Top.

9. Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

10. Reports any unsafe working conditions to the Melt Supervisor.
