Fargo steel fabrication company is seeking a full time Engineering Department Manager.Duties: Supervise 8-9 person Engineering Department which is responsible for producing structural steel, misc. metal & rebar fabrication shop drawings. Currently using SDS2, RebarCAD & AutoCAD Software. Monitor all jobs & workflow through the department to meet customer's needs; work with subcontracted details to handle overflow work; communicate with customers and production department; review and interpret contract drawings and specifications as well as shop drawings; report directly to Vice President; other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Expertise in reading contract drawings and specifications.
