Microsoft Legal Department is Hiring a Remote Technical Program Manager

Job Duties

Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Manage project implementation, which may include resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, and training of technical development and product planning teams. Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum Requirements

  • EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Two (2) years of software-related, centralized and coordinated program/project management experience and/or experience designing, developing and releasing software products or services utilizing C, C , C# and/or another high-level programming language.
  • ALTERNATE REQUIREMENT: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, information Technology or a related field, employer will accept 2 additional years of software-related, centralized and coordinated program/project management experience and/or experience designing, developing and releasing software products or services utilizing C, C , C# and/or another high-level programming language.
  • SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Must include at least 24 months of experience in: Program Management; Azure Cluster Buildout; Coordinating program development of computer software applications, systems, services from design through product release; and Collaborating with Cross Functional Team; at least 12 months of experience in: Azure Services and Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools, and policies; and at least education or experience in Azure BootstrapLite.

Any suitable combination of education, experience or training is acceptable.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (Job Code: TSSKV17396a), in Atlanta, GA, is $123,000 to $153,000.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 10 scheduled paid holidays, and up to 80 hours Holistic Health Time Off. Additionally, hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid vacation time, and salaried/exempt employees have Discretionary Time Off (DTO).
