Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:

Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects. Research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment to ensure quality and optimization of use. Develop and execute project plans in order to identify and resolve deficiencies and improve overall business performance. May supervise the manufacturing and installation of Microsoft’s proprietary tools and technologies. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more per week within same area as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum Requirements

• EDUCATION: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another computer science or engineering degree with computer hardware, electronics, or electrical engineering coursework.
• EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience in a hardware engineering related occupation.
• ALTERNATE EDUCATON AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another computer science or engineering degree with computer hardware, electronics, or electrical engineering coursework and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a hardware engineering related occupation.
• SPECIFIC SKILLS: This position also requires two years of experience in cloud hardware and infrastructure; and three years of experience in program management, server and rack design and development, coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release, reporting, cloud technologies, and managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code TSBRK17762A), in Mountain View, California, is $220,000 to $250,000.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
