Job Description: This position will be a key contributor to the success of the Gresham Manufacturing location by supporting the applications, equipment automation, and desktops used in the manufacturing environment. A successful candidate will work independently while taking direction from the Gresham IT Applications Manager. The candidate should have strong troubleshooting/analytical skills, be able to understand complex documentation relating to desktops, and manufacturing knowledge is preferred. Work compressed work week hours Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (BD shift). Essential Competencies: Be the first responder to all IT related issues and calls Maintain a high level of engagement in job ownership, customer service, and quality of service Work within a team to provide technology support to manufacturing and engineering users Work for long periods in a clean room environment wearing full bunny suit attire Work autonomously in researching issues and come to viable and relevant solutions Practice excellent verbal and written skills Provide quality fab application support and desktop computing environment support Use Corporate Service Now ticketing environment to log and monitor customer questions, issues, and problems through to resolution/completion Work independently with minimal supervision Be self-directed and self-led Apply troubleshooting/analytical skills to problem solving Work with complex documentation relating to desktop hardware, software installation/upgrades, and equipment automation Install and maintain computing devices in a clean room environment Resolve desktop software and desktop hardware problems for end-users Maintain systems in-line with site and corporate direction and policies Maintain accurate inventory of computing devices and software Monitor system backups using the NetBackup Software as needed Add new devices to LAN and Active Directory Troubleshoot network related issues (Serial, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN) Coordinate and perform network wiring cross-connects Maintain IT security protocols within the computing environment Requirements/Qualifications: 2 or more years of experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment. Experience in desktop management and knowledge of LAN concepts preferred. Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote, Outlook). Must be able to work for long periods in a clean room environment wearing full bunny suit attire. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated and able to complete tasks given and problem solve; be able to work autonomously in researching issues and come to viable and relevant solutions; should possess excellent verbal and written skills. Critical Physical Requirements: Able to lift 30 lbs; push 80 lbs, pull approx. 80 lbs; carry 40 lbs; sit 20%; stand 40%; walk 40%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing.
