Job Description:
Principal Product Engineer to lead new product development team through silicon development, validation, characterization, qualification and release to production of 16-bit microcontroller projects. Position facilitates team through NPD process, as well as ensures that team operates withing Microchip's Quality System. Job duties also include sustaining products, post release, and interfacing with global manufacturing teams. Additional responsibilities include addressing customer returns and special requests, when needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Technical knowledge of microcontrollers and their functionality
Communication skills
Project management skills
Knowledge of device validation, characterization and qualification
Statistics and silicon manufacturing process
7 years of related work experience
