Job Description:

Microchip is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time job opening in the position of a material handler. This candidate should have warehouse & receiving experience. The position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and or Manger and will be responsible for supporting the planning group and pulling product to ship to vendors, cycle counts, receiving, and inventory items.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Planner releases daily for local and offshore vendors.
• Kit releases needed for ASSY builds that needs to be sent out.
• Answer questions from test area and planning group.
• Box any orders going out to local vendors.
• Contact local vendors to arrange pickups for parts
• Maintain inventory for all RT builds.
• Work on IW's when time permits.
• Help in receiving orders coming in for finished goods.
• Cycle counts when needed and do put-aways that come out of our wip room.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

• Hight school diploma.
• At least 5 years of experience or more in a warehouse environment.
• Computer literate with Excel, Word.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Continuous high-volume output.
• Cycle counts.
• Receiving experience.
• US Citizenship Required

Preferred qualifications include:

• Any other additional warehouse experience.
• Background in semiconductor industry.
• Note taking a plus due to different processes
• Excellent punctuality
