Job Description:
Will be responsible for managing Product Marketing and Strategic activities related to supporting and successfully growing APID’s (Analog Power and Interface Division) Power Management product lines with Key focus on Power Management IC’s (PMIC).
Essential Functions:
- Establish Product Lines Strategic focus areas for future product line direction.
- Coordinate and provide marketing direction and support to internal corporate departments and Worldwide Field Sales and Applications organizations.
- Manage product line margin and revenue goals (to meet corporate requirements)
- Manage all aspects of strategic marketing to ensure revenue growth for product lines of responsibility.
- Develop and execute new product introductions including forecasting, pricing, literature, training, etc.
- Support Worldwide Field Sales in market penetration, major account penetration and distribution sales Worldwide to realize business unit revenue and margin targets.
- Coordinate with APID Marketing and Corporate Marcom to develop sales collateral, advertisements, or other material to aid in revenue generation.
- Provide comprehensive product, system and strategy training for all Worldwide sales regions including direct, rep, and distribution sales.
- Develop product concepts for Growing product line portfolio and Revenue in target focus areas.
- Drive Conversion of Product Concepts onto roadmaps, priorities and into development for future product line growth
- Drive Projects Definition and Program Management with Applications Teams for Product Lines of responsibility
- Monitor and Drive Problem Resolution and Warranted for Focus Products in Development (participate in new products team)
- Identify and Maintain Lists of Target Alpha and Lead Customers for Product Focus Areas
- Develop Field Engagement Strategy to Develop and Maintain Relationships and Dataflow for Focus Products
- Drive Strategy for Development and Market Release of New Products Using WPIP and Other company Processes After Reaching RTP (Release to production), including Soft Handoffs with Key Alpha Customers for Samples and Lead Customers for RTP
- Work with other MCHP Business Units to create and promote existing product on Microchip solutions (reference designs) solving client’s key problems.
- Work with other MCHP BUs to identify, define and develop future products to enable maximum client value from Microchip total system solutions.
- Manage and maintain web content for product lines of ownership.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BSEE or equivalent.
- Systems, Applications or Marketing experience with semiconductor components or embedded systems preferred.

Pay Range:
The expected base salary range for this position, if filled in California, is $79,000 - $232,000, dependent on specific skills and work experience. We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. In addition to these components, our package includes health benefits that begin day one, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading ESPP program with a 2 year look back feature.
