Michigan Restoration Services is seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as the Assistant Project Manager.

The dynamic of this role will involve working together with our Estimator, Site Superintendent and Operations Manager to ensure jobs run smoothly, including ongoing customer communication.

The project manager will also be responsible for:

• Communicate effectively and professionally with subcontractors and homeowners keeping them informed and engaged.
• Create and maintain project schedules/ work orders.
• Track progress and tasks ensuring everything stays on track and maintain quality control.
• Help identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
• Complete a daily review of jobs and notify management of any challenges.
• Perform vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Serve as a role model for all superintendents.
• Promote new business and develop relationships.
• Manage the job process from start to finish.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, have a keen attention to detail, and be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project from kick off to completion.
• Meet with customers and assess damage.
• Be the point of contact for the customer throughout the project.
• Other duties as assigned by operations manager.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect projects.
• Close job out with homeowner and insurance company

Qualifications/ Skills:

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work on multiple projects at once, and able to prioritize tasks based on importance.
• Must have strong math skills.
• Xactimate estimating skills are a plus.
• Strong customer service focus
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience with Google sheets and Documents.
• Experience with One drive and document sharing.
• Keen sense of integrity, self-motivation, dignity, and resolve
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

• Weekly pay
