- Claim edits from Greenway
- Claim edits from Clearinghouse
- Handles complaints about inaccurately submitted claims with registration errors and follow up with training/write ups for repeat offenders
- Phreesia support liaison when pads go down to investigate the error
- Assists new front desk staff with logins to websites
- Trains new front desk staff to include how front desk impacts billing
- Fixes duplicate accounts
- Assists Medical Assistants when a patient’s check in needs to be corrected
- Runs no revenue category reports and applying credits to outstanding balances
- End of day balancing of Phreesia and ensuring all payments have been posted and applied accordingly
- Handles all calls from front desk as it relates to insurance and check in process
- Adds insurances into Greenway
- Generates and sorts claims
- Orders supplies: paper, envelopes, toner, claims
- Cleans out remit drawer
- Fills out hud, medical expense paperwork
- Manages the front desk team leads and provides annual reviews. Sits in on all front desk reviews with the assigned team lead.
- Works out coverage issues for front desk with the Operations Coordinator and other team leads
- Must have a thorough understanding of Greenway and Phreesia as it relates to both front desk and billing
This position requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, sit as necessary.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8 to 4 or 9 to 5. Due to the nature of the work this position is not eligible for tele-commuting.
