Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. We are a private club on the water, open Thursdays through Saturday 5pm to 9pm. Hourly rate plus tips.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and standards
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point of sale system
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
Skills:
- Experience in bartending or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of brewing, mixing drinks, and cocktail recipes
- Strong math skills for handling payments and calculating orders
- Ability to cater to diverse customer preferences
- Experience with banquet or event bartending is beneficial
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
