THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the analysis and the development of solutions in full autonomy; designs, builds, deploys and maintains tailor-made and/or software packages applications or adapts existing ones. Ensuring applications stability, scalability, performance, security and consistency, they verify the functional and/or technical quality of developments by implementing and/or executing tests on a wide variety of devices and setups. They work with internal or external business partners to create or redefine functional and/or technical specifications. They also act as a tutor to Software Engineers.

Code is showable, useful, generic, sustainable (ease of maintenance, scalable, reusable), shareable, elegant (code as essay, "bookish", minimal), pleasurable, efficient, concise, readable.Clean code uses writing standards (names (search), functions (short), ...), code patterns (architecture/design at all scale) and practices (testing & refactoring) and uses code discipline (SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, TDD, etc).
