Current Opportunity: Communications Officer, Digital Marketing Operations – Austin, TX

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation is seeking a Communications Officer specializing in Digital Marketing Operations to support the foundation’s Communications Team. This is an individual contributor role and requires that the person is based in Austin, TX. We are looking for a Technology-focused Communications practitioner that will be responsible for the following:

Leading all aspects of the team’s tech-centric communications development and operational tools, such as HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, Khoros and Bynder, including day-to-day operation as well as ongoing support and maintenance.
Planning, launching, and reporting on all digital paid media campaigns on various channels, and research other digital marketing channel opportunities.
Managing all aspects of email marketing, including building and sending emails in segmented batches or as part of drip campaigns in HubSpot.
Creating landing pages as needed events and campaigns in HubSpot, WordPress and other landing page builder tools.
Working as the liaison with Technology team, articulating current and anticipated communications team needs to identify the optimal digital communications and content delivery solutions.
Reporting on all digital communication and marketing activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
5-7 years of experience in information technology or related field
Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, HubSpot required
Strong attention to detail and project management skills
Ability to quickly learn and utilize new software solutions
Ability to offer creative marketing ideas and marry those with technology solutions
Ability to readily adapt to new directions and assignments
Can turn ideas into workable plans with specific timelines, milestones and goals
Can work independently and as part of a team
Can complete challenging projects within set parameters
Experience with digital asset management is a plus
