I'm partnered with a Fortune 500 global multi-billion dollar manufacturing company. One of their business units is a leading provider in their niche located in a northern suburbs on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office), and are actively searching to identify a new Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team.

Description

• Collaborate with Marketing by providing estimated product COGS and conducting relevant analyses as required
• Generate bi-weekly and monthly reports on purchase price variances and assist the Purchasing group with PPV
• Facilitate the annual standard cost revision process and contribute to the development of new standard costs as necessary
• Perform month-end assessment cycles and execute allocation entries
• Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed including material inflation, margin and cost of goods sold analysis, and other special projects
• Oversee physical inventory counts at third-party vendor locations through regular audits
• Ensure timely completion of month-end close responsibilities
• Actively participate in cross-functional meetings and teams focused on enhancing current purchasing practices and processes to drive improvements

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 1-5 years of experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• SAP experience a plus
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Goal-oriented to progress their career
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to partner cross-functionally
• Up to 25% travel to distribution sites
