Job Description
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects in Indianapolis, from initiation to closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones.
- Procure necessary materials, equipment, and resources, and manage subcontractor relationships effectively.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor work progress, safety, and quality compliance, and address any issues or concerns.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolve conflicts, and manage change orders.
- Maintain clear and open communication with project team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and submit project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and closeout documents, in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years) as a Commercial Construction Project Manager, with a successful track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications (PMP, CCM, LEED, etc.) are a plus.
