Our search firms has been exclusively retained by a high-end plaintiff-side law firm that seeks to hire for its Chicago office (three days expected in the office per week) a junior or midlevel associate for a role focused exclusively on the discovery aspects of birth trauma litigation. The firm seeks an attorney (defense or plaintiff-side) with medical malpractice experience (birth injury experience not required). The role will focus on discovery, including significant writing and motion practice. Over time, the role can involve taking depositions and trials in this national practice (most cases not venued in Cook County). Base salary is likely one hundred fifteen to one hundred thirty-five thousand (depending on experience), and attorneys within this group work hard. We have placed multiple attorneys with this group and over fifty attorneys with the firm.
