Michael J. Murray, DDS is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Darien, CT

Job Overview:

We are an established modern private General Dental Practice. We are seeking a dedicated, kind and friendly Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our entire team in providing quality oral health care to patients, and has experience with digital Scanning, Digital Imaging and Charting. Orthodontic assisting experience a plus but not required.

Duties:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures.
- Assist Hygienist with patient flow and treatment
- Take digital dental X-rays and Intra-Oral Photos

- Scan for various Oral Appliances
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records

-Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

You should posses the following or be excited to train for and learn:
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
- Proficiency in Digital X-Ray procedures, Intra-Oral Scanning and Photos
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to perform patient assessments and record vital signs accurately

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Orthodontic Assisting experience
- Previous work in dental assisting roles
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Pay: $21.70 - $26.13 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
