Description:


This position supports the Summer Research Program for currently enrolled undergraduate students or recent graduates. This 12-week summer program will provide in-depth professional neuroscience research development for selected candidates. Candidates will participate in weekly educational workshops on various research topics, be matched to a physician mentor, and participate in an existing research project. At the end of the 12-week period, candidates are required to prepare an oral presentation about their experience to the Baptist Health South Florida community and its generous donors. This 12-week summer program provides a complete and immersive research experience for emerging neuroscience professionals. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.04 - $19.41 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:


Degrees: Associates Licenses & Certifications: Collab Inst Training Init Additional Qualifications: In lieu of a degree, 2 years of research experience is required. Medical terminology experience preferred. Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office. Proven ability to manage multiple assignments systematically. Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and team-building skills are required. Must be able to work in high-demand environment and take responsibility in meeting deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Minimum Required Experience:
