Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC) is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Regional Accounting Specialist. The Regional Accounting Specialist is responsible for Receiving, purchasing, invoicing, titling, registering warranty and any other functions related to the administrative support of truck sales. This will be for both new and used trucks. Previous experience required.

• Prepare daily and/or monthly reports.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Customer invoicing.
• Maintain truck inventories including truck purchasing, invoicing, FET reporting, retail sales report and flooring payoffs
• Drop warranty claims and complete weekly ACH.
• Code payables and work missing invoice list.
• Process special bills.
• Prepare account analysis and reconciliations and research outstanding items.
• Perform month-end close procedures and prepare and submit all required reports.
• Compile data and maintain appropriate sales records and reports.
• Assist with preparation of annual business plan
• Process payroll and maintain personnel records
• Coordinate, perform, and/or document the collection of accounts receivable and past due accounts.
• Provide backup for Branch Office Specialist duties including but not limited to switchboard, bank deposit and scanning.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and proficient computer skills.
• Requires excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Prefer college degree but equivalent experience and success may be substituted for degree.
