Salary Range: $88,540.00 - $120,000.00 Salary

Description

General Purpose:

The Manager of Marketing Data and Insights will analyze marketing data to identify trends, insights and opportunities that will drive our marketing strategies forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, marketing analytics and the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights that drive organization success. This role will launch and oversee predictive modeling, lead scoring and reporting to assist in achieving the Medical Group Management Association’s (MGMA) short- and long-term goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Gather, organize, and analyze robust marketing and organizational data to uncover trends, patterns and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Conduct holistic funnel analysis to optimize multi-stage tracking, insights, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with finance and IT to leverage martech tack to develop reporting solutions.
  • Synthesize large and complex data sets into actionable insights using analytical, visualization and data tools such as PowerBI, Excel, Dynamic 365, Marketo, Google Suite, etc. Create queries, views, reports and easy-to-consumption dashboards/visualizations.
  • Ability to summarize insights and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports, presentations and visualizations.
  • Leverage internal reporting tools to improve quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
  • Manage and analyze advanced martech features to feed predictive analytics and data modeling.
  • Collaborate with product, sales and marketing team members to assess marketplace conditions and competition.
  • Collaborate with finance and IT to assist with resource and technology investment as it relates to marketing campaign outcomes and Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
  • Architect of plans to advancement of cross-marketing/upsell strategy and opportunities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and our research vendor to synthesis all market research projects, including setting up focus groups and gathering actionable data.
  • Strategize lead lifecycle campaigns and customer journey mapping.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, sales and product teams to understand their data and reporting needs and provide recommendations for data-driven solutions.
  • Partner with IT to develop and implement a data integrity process that ensures clean, accurate and reliable data to support marketing analytics.
  • Other duties as required and necessary to ensure the success of the organization.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Ability to consistently promote, support, work, and act in a manner in support of MGMA’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Technical problem solving, data visualization skills, enable data-driven decision-making, streamline workflows and automation of marketing efforts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to track marketing campaign results, cross-tab various data sources, review data from different angles, and make improvement suggestions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and written skills coupled with the ability to craft value propositions, benefit outlines, feature descriptions, and other messages that resonate with various market segments.
  • Adept with martech stack systems such as Marketo, Dynamics365, Kontent.ai, PowerBI, Google Analytics, GA4, Google Ads, and social media suite reporting, etc.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills even when working against deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, assimilate feedback from multiple stakeholders and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Ambitious and proactive, life-long learner who strives for continuous improvement and advancement.
  • Must have the ability to establish effective internal and external working relationships.
  • Success-minded and divergent thinking for business line and company goal achievement.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is required. Master’s degree or current enrollment is preferred.

Experience:

  • Five (5) or more years’ experience in martech stack and analytics is required.
  • Five (5) or more year’s experience in managing an annual marketing budget of $250,000 .
  • Five (5) or more year’s experience in managing annual client revenue goals of $10 million .

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must live in Denver or the surrounding areas and be able to commute to the corporate office as requested.

Working environment:

  • Work is generally performed in an indoor, professional office environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
  • Will need to travel on behalf of the Association to attend conferences and other Association events on a regular basis.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.

  • This is a largely sedentary role, so employee must be able to remain in a sedentary position while focusing for extended periods of time throughout the workday. Position also requires occasional movement inside the office to access file cabinets, printers, etc. While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to successfully navigate scenarios requiring the following operational abilities: 
  • Ability to operate PC/keyboard and other office productivity equipment 
  • Ability to position self to traverse/navigate around typical office setting 
  • Ability pull/push, lift, open/close, grasp/manipulate, transport up to 10 lbs.
