THE JOB
The Casino Cage Cashier II is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our casino and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. By executing these tasks with accuracy, integrity, and professionalism, you contribute to the overall success of our iconic establishment. By understanding guests' unique stories and needs, you will aim to create memorable experiences and WOW moments that extend beyond their stay!
THE DAY TO DAY
Handle basic transactions such as ticket purchases, entry fees, or similar transactions and ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing these transactions.
Facilitate the exchange of cash for chips and vice versa.
Process credit transactions for patrons within designated guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Oversee marker and IOU transactions, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to policies.
Manage cash bank operations, including withdrawals and deposits as needed.
Redeem chips, tokens, TITO tickets, and Race and Sports tickets accurately.
Secure and document all transactions made with company assets.
Complete electronic and manual transaction logs accurately.
Balance bank transactions at the end of each shift.
Ensure all records are up-to-date and reconcile any discrepancies.
Provide patrons with general information and assistance as requested.
Demonstrate professionalism and helpfulness in all interactions.
Issue or surrender safety deposit boxes according to established procedures and maintain records and ensure the security of safety deposit box transactions.
Familiarize with the MGM Rewards program and its benefits.
Communicate relevant information to patrons in a clear and professional manner.
THE IDEAL CANDIDIATE
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Understanding of bank relationships, particularly between front windows, main, chip, and marker banks.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational abilities to operate efficiently within deadlines, paying close attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with guests and various departments.
Previous customer service experience, preferably in a resort setting.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in managing cash transactions.
One (1) year prior experience working in a cage.
Possession of a gaming license.
