MGM Property Management is Hiring a Property Manager Near Michigan, IN

Property management company is seeking a high-energy leader to join our team of professionals and manage our apartment community in Michigan City, IN.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with affordable housing management required, Section 8 HAP contract administration).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Boston Post Management Software a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

Community Manager

  • Oversee daily operations of community.
  • Motivate and provide support to onsite staff.
  • Oversee and maintain monthly budget projections for maintenance and other community affairs.
  • Maintain high occupancy rates.
  • Perform leasing and marketing functions for the community.
  • Responsible for all rent collections and deposits.
  • Follow resident screening guidelines to ensure compliance for all applicants.
  • Review and approve all applicant files prior to move in for compliance with company policies.
  • Enforce community rules and regulations to ensure a safe and happy living environment.
  • Process resident lease renewals in a timely manner.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting with the Regional Manager.
  • Work with maintenance team to enhance property curb appeal.
  • Manage and maintain good vendor/contractor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all fair housing laws and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
