MGC Pure Chemicals America, Inc. is Hiring a Manufacturing Sales Account Manager Near Mesa, AZ

OverviewThe role is an entry level position and will contribute to MPCA’s success as a person coordinating the sales/manufacturing/logistics relationship to fulfill customer requirements and expectations.
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Promotes and supports MPCA’s safe workplace philosophy
  • Supports the efforts of the Sales Department, as needed
  • After training assist Sales Staff to prepare presentations for end customers to promote MPCA and to gain information concerning their activities
  • Creates sales goals per customer
  • Identifies new opportunities or challenges
  • Creates weekly and monthly reports for assigned responsibilities
  • Includes preparing and reporting Intel DOI report
  • Be back up for Sales Administrative Assistant position
  • Supports the logistics department with inventory, forecasts and shipping requirements
  • Supports production with customer forecasts and usage changes
  • Assists in being MPCA’s internal window to our customers
  • Assists in handling all RFQs, Specification Reviews and Customer requests through the CRF process. This includes initiating, responding and entering final feedback from customer on requests.
  • Creates customer inventory reports (DOI), material purchase orders, accuracy to forecast reports, on time delivery requests from primary vendor and other reports deemed necessary.
  • Customer Web Portals – assists as required for the business for all customer web site portals for interaction as required.
  • Secures market conditions for customers / competitors from Industry Contacts that support both arenas.
  • Identifies ways to improve profitability; includes communicating with General Manager, Sr. Sales Manager, and Customers on unplanned demurrage for bulk ISO deliveries
  • Creates and presents presentations internally and for customers
  • Supports the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Supports the sales department and administration as needed
  • Gains customer and industry knowledge; includes completing market analysis for both Hydrogen Peroxide and Ammonium Hydroxide.
  • Updates customer action reports per their schedules
  • Manages assigned projects and reports progress weekly to the General Manager and Sales
  • Submits a monthly report detailing the prior month’s activities
  • Awareness of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards
  • Other duties needed by the company as directed by management
Required Skills / Abilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Chemical Manufacturing background is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel

Education/ ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent
3 years minimum experience in an outside sales position
Physical Requirements / Work ConditionsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
