Overview

MG Properties has an immediate need for a Regional Training Manager (RTM). The RTM is accountable for all onsite employee education and development in order to achieve company goals as lead by the Director of Learning, Culture & Philanthropy. The RTM will assess the needs of their portfolio, implement training and development plans, and facilitate a wide variety of training programs that enhance the community performance and resident experience.

Responsibilities

The RTM must have clear, strong communication skills and ability to teach employees in person, virtually, over the phone and through webinars. It is essential that the RTM possess the ability to teach using various learning styles to ensure all employees comprehend the course content. In addition to other responsibilities, the Regional Training Manager will act as a troubleshooter, resource, ambassador and mentor to new and existing employees. RTM will contribute to creating, implementing, and selecting content and materials to improve overall training curriculum aligning with company goals. This position requires consistent communication with the Regional Managers and Regional Support Managers to maintain seamless support for our employees’ development process and educational experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold all information strictly confidential and always display behavior which supports the company’s values, policies, mission and Employee Handbook Guidelines.
• Must represent the company with the utmost respect and behave professionally both inside and outside the scheduled business hours as well as on-site and outside the normal work locations.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to provide and receive feedback for the communities’ improvement.
• Coordinates and executes resident retention events on the property.
• Must be available for unplanned emergencies.
• Act as the Region Ambassador and act as liaison in ensuring associate training is completed timely.
• High school graduate and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Community Manager position.
• Experience with computer programs including MS Office and proficiency in on-site management software.
• Must have valid driver's license and required level of automobile insurance.
• Travel required. Travel to property sites outside of local area is estimated at 30%.
