As a Senior Product Manager at Mezmo, you will play a crucial role in shaping the product experience and strategy for Mezmo’s pipeline telemetry platform, a growing market with huge opportunity! As a valued member of a growing, innovative team, you will work to enable organizations to Understand, Optimize and Respond to their telemetry data in a cost effective and efficient manner saving both money and precious time.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide the product roadmap by understanding core customer and business challenges, identifying the best solution and balancing priorities between near term needs and long term vision.
  • Work closely with Marketing and the GTM team taking new offerings to market and validating them including functionality, pricing and packaging, ensuring smooth adoption and retention.
  • Partner with Design and Product Analytics to create a fast time to value, understand and remove friction points and ultimately create an intuitive user experience for a technical, but time strapped user.
  • As a product leader at the company, you’ll be collaborating with the executive team, working closely with a distributed team of designers and developers, as well as with our go to market teams on driving joint efforts to reach the highest market impact. You’ll be responsible for ensuring these cross-functional teams have the alignment and clarity needed to consistently execute our growth roadmap, on time and with high quality.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Champion the vision and create alignment: Develop and share the product vision for your group, ensuring its alignment across the company. You listen well. You build consensus by default, but can drive hard decisions when needed. You push the pace. You are comfortable and skilled at presenting to, and gaining traction with, audiences of all sizes — from executive meetings with our CEO or Board and customer syncs to webinars and blog posts.
  • Impact focused with a consistent history of delivering measurable results for both users and the business. Ability to think big and small to build incremental features and prototypes, run experiments and fail fast, in service of a larger vision. You have ‘data fluency’ and can ask the right questions to dig deeper into the data and ensure it validates your hypotheses.
  • You have empathy for SREs and DevOps and a passion for their unique use cases, technology and what happens behind the scenes of the software we’re all dependent on. You love working closely with customers and understanding their pain points, jobs to be done and where your offerings fit into their overall workflow.
  • Must have: 5 years of Product Management experience, including 2 years working on Devtools or a technical product. Observability or Security experience a plus!

Compensation: This role has an annual starting salary range of $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 equity benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills, experience and location.

About Mezmo

Mezmo is on a mission to empower people who build solutions that shape the world. We’re doing this by delivering a platform that enables enterprises to get more value from their observability data in real time, regardless of source, destination, use case, or scale. We’re not the only ones working on this problem but we have a few things the others don’t.

  1. We’re cloud-native and know how to make the most of modern technology like Kubernetes.
  2. We have scaled a solution from zero to petabyte scale in a short amount of time, while supporting thousands of active users across multiple environments.
  3. We are hungry for change and are surrounded by enterprises telling us they’re hungry, too.
  4. We have a kick-ass group of people who are thinking about the problem analytically and are excited to change the observability world for the better.

Mezmo has helped some of the world’s most innovative companies transform how they manage their systems and applications. Still, we know that we can help them get more value from their observability data by providing more flexibility and control over how they use it. This will enable teams to spend less time switching between data silos so they can focus on shipping better, more resilient, and secure products.

We have momentum on our side. Last year we saw triple digit revenue growth and added 800 new customers to our roster. Recent accolades include being named to YC’s Top Companies, CRN’s 10 Hottest DevOps Startups, and EMA’s Top 3 Observability Platforms.
