The main duties of the Automotive Assembler include using hand and power tools to assemble and build specialty vehicles under the guidance and supervision of senior craftsmen. Must have the ability to plan ahead, understand the basic mechanics of automobiles, and offer the highest levels of accuracy and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the complete assembly of specialty vehicles
• Be able to follow templates to Prep Fiberglass Bodies
• Mount Fiberglass bodies to Chassis
• Install brake and steering systems
• Install electrical and electronic systems
• Install transmissions, engines, and fuel components as needed

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from vocational or community college and 2-5 years of relative experience, or a combination of both
• Be able to lift 75lbs (Heavier items will be ‘Team lift’)
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Provide help/support within multiple departments as needed
• Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license (required for logistics as needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.74 - $23.78 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
