Meyer Distributing is looking for a Carpenter to join our Arlington team.

Preferred experience for Carpenter/Framer (construction technician):
- Prefer one year of experience
- Prefer both metal and wood stud experience
Pay
Up to $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 6am to 2:30pm- Monday through Friday
License Requirements for Carpenter:
- Must maintain a valid Texas driver license and a good driving record.
Construction Technician duties include but are not limited to:
- Implement preventative maintenance measures
- Metal studs
- Framing
- Drywall
- Painting
- Carpentry focused, but might do some other construction work
- Maintain inventory repair equipment and supplies
- Complete inspections of offices and warehouses
- Respond as soon as possible in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
- Perform other maintenance/construction duties as requested

Requirements for Carpenter
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to follow directions and protocol procedures
- Able to work under minimal supervision
- Good communication ability
- Think quickly when under pressure
- Standing or walking for long periods of time
- Capable of lifting fifty pounds unassisted
- Ability to operate a variety of equipment
- Stand in the heat for long periods of time
- Must be available to travel
