Metz Culinary Management is Hiring a Patient Advocate Near Buffalo, NY

JOB TITLE: Patient Services Advocate

LOCATION: Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo NY 14215

SALARY: $65,000 per year

This is great opportunity for someone interested in delivering outstanding customer service.

Experience in Healthcare foodservice is preferred.

Strong computer skills are required.

Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Patient Advocate to oversee the Food Service Experience in a busy hospital setting.

The Patient Experience Manager plans, coordinates and manages all patient/resident nutrition care activities complying with the standards established by Metz, regulatory agencies and client. Functions as a Process Improvement Specialist and member of the multidisciplinary health care team to implement nutrition care plans. Superior Patient Relations and Communications experience is required.

A successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the importance of Customer Relations and Care in a clinical setting. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Patient Services Leadership Experience
  • Food Service Management Experience
  • Strong Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Creating effective communication documents including summaries, reports and letters
  • Math skills to include stats, fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions in practical situations
  • Strong Team Management Skills
