MetroWall is Hiring an Assistant Project Manager Near Congers, NY

Purpose of Role:

To ensure a level of service that exceeds the customer’s expectations by coordinating the details and resources necessary to successfully complete each project on time and on budget

1. Core Responsibilities Outline:

1.1 Procurement

A. Secure quotes and place orders for project specific purchases

B. Manage schedule of deliveries, troubleshoot issues, etc.

C. Compile relevant information for placing order with vendors and submit to relevant department

1.2 Communication

A. Act as point of contact for the customer

B. Regularly communicate project status to all relevant parties. Ensure that clients don’t have to follow up with MetroWall

C. Identify and define client’s schedule. Notify the client early if there will be issues hitting their dates and work on resolution

1.3 Project Management

A. Maintain all internal software’s to accurately depict project statues, project schedule, invoicing forecast, etc.

B. Assign and follow up on tasks to internal teams

C. Perform review of shop drawings

D. Obtain, prepare, submit, ship submittals as required

E. Monitor status of project billing and payments

F. Compile punch list and distribute to necessary parties

1.4 Scheduling

A. Assist in obtaining information and scheduling service calls

B. Manage installation calendars and communication with all installers

C. Handle requests for missing parts and coordinate scheduling for punch lists

D. Confirm product deliveries dates and times with vendors

E. Demonstrate innovative problem solving that can be used in resolving complex scheduling situations

F. Forecast labor needs to meet install deadlines

G. Ensure constant, consistent and effective communication with all parties and at all times to ensure understanding and avoid conflicts or errors

2. Additional Responsibility

  • 2.1 Work willingly with all members of the MetroWall team to deliver a level of customer service that exceeds the expectations of our customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills
