As Data Security Specialist, you'll be skilled and experienced with expertise in Databricks. You will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of data assets, with a focus on data processed and stored within the Databricks platform.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement data security policies, standards, and procedures specific to Databricks platform.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify security threats and vulnerabilities within Databricks environments.
• Implement access controls, encryption mechanisms, and other security controls to safeguard data processed and stored in Databricks.
• Monitor Databricks environments for security breaches, suspicious activities, and compliance with security policies.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure that security requirements are integrated into Databricks workflows and processes.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in data security, Databricks platform, and relevant regulatory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed:

• You have the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
• You have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant field
• You have 5 years of experience as a Data Security Specialist
• Strong understanding of data security principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with data classification, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
• You have Knowledge of cloud security principles and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
• You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate security risks effectively.
• You have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
